Our Studio
Set within a heritage building in Kala Ghoda, our studio is a light-filled space shaped by colour, art and play. Its windows frame views of the historic precinct and the iconic dome of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya.

The project
Originally designed as a lawyer’s chambers, the space was featured in ELLE DECOR India’s June–July 2024 print edition as Dot Dot Dot. Conceived around an “anything but typical” brief, it brings unexpected colour and personality to a formal workplace.
The conference room draws inspiration from Yayoi Kusama — her energy as a non-conforming artist and her ability to transform spaces through repetition and scale. Black dots flow across the walls and tabletop, complemented by spherical lights that echo the same playful language of the polka dot.
A vivid green library with red-and-white stripes, eclectic furniture and art, including works by Thomas Daniell, add further character.
Today, the space is where Sonia Gehlot’s practice comes to life — a studio for thinking, creating and bringing ideas into the world.
